As we wish a happy Hanukkah to our readers, I’m pleased to notice that the stats counter has now passed 100,000 hits since moving to WordPress back in April. What’s more, November saw a high of 28,097 hits, up from 25,445 in October. It’s a long way from the dizzy heights of Socialist Unity, but not bad going for an esoteric little blog like this.

The secret is good writing, well informed about your subect matter, with an irreverent attitude that is particularly well suited to blogging.
Incidentally, indymedia.ie gets an average of about a half million hits a day, so you’ve some way to climb: http://stats.indymedia.ie/www/ We’re currently talking about using the site more to highlight interesting blog posts so hopefully we can help to get you more readers too in the near future. With more readers you will find more trouble though.
