This hasn’t been a great week for searches – not many things leap out at you. Some Googler with an IP address in Bosnia types I hate Serbs, which I suppose is predictable. And there is another one for Magical Hat Flying Turban Adventure, which I now discover is a Japanese video game.
Someone types Eamonn Holmes + Friends of Israel – is there a connection I hadn’t suspected? And there is one for Mark Fischer Newsnight, which is something I may revisit.
Somebody else writes neoconservatism sucks – yes, it does. I am slightly baffled by Abi Titmuss Dundalk, but not terribly surprised to get Cheeky Girls Lembit Öpik. Irish slappers is a good one. In the political sphere, Trotsky and Monty Johnstone sits alongside we are the boys of the UVF and Dennis Tourish Militant Irish Monthly.
Some others worth mentioning are Derry gay bashing capital, the beginning of folk Catholicism and Sapir-Whorf – dead level abstracting, which reassures me that we do get at least some intellectual readers.
In third place this week, Human Beast music, from someone who appreciates the work of David McNiven.
In second, Michelle Marsh + dungarees. Is this a new fetish? Is our searcher looking for Michelle in nothing but dungarees? I am agog to know. I hope that he, and the Googler looking for Michelle Marsh Stringfellows images, weren’t too disappointed.
This week’s winner is Gerry Kelly Folks on the Hill. If you haven’t yet caught the Beeb’s animated satirical show, do yourself a favour.
